My intention this morning was to go out and finish bolting up the smoke oil tank. Well since I don't 90 degree fitting I need and I would have to remove the tank to install it I changed course.
I thought I would mount the avionics into my panel. If you recall I repainted it last weekend, well on closer inspection it has some areas where the clear coat had 'blushed' alittle and I just wasnt' happy with it overall. So out comes the sandpaper for some color-sanding. I spent about an hour on that, mustly just remembering how to do it and no screw up something. Now that I'm doing this to the center panel, I'm abliged to do the same for the two subpanels so this will end up being my project for at least part of the weekend.
400 grit, 600 grit, 1000 grit then compound then polish - repeat
