I started to modifiy the rear baggage area. This mod has been done by several -8 guys so I can't take credit for the idea. It basically hinges the bulkhead cover on the hatshelf of the rear baggage compartment extends it back to the next bulkhead. Pretty handy for carrying long light weight stuff. -Layed out the hinge on the bulkhead cover -Trimmed the hinge length -layed out the rivet hole pattern in the bulkhead cover -drilled the hinge #40 to the bullkhead
So far so good.
The upper vertical piece will be hinged.
The shelf will go into this bay using the mid longerons for support
