Brief Description:  Rear throttle quadrant install #8

Finished up the rear throttle installation-still not perfect, but I need to get some advise before going further so I'm deferring this until later. I removed the rear lever and bent it slightly to take some of the preload off it and radiused the part of the lever that travels through the slot looking to get smoother action. I then touched up the primer around the slot (scratched up from all of the riveting, drilling, and fitting. Rattle can makes it easy. Then I reassembed and it certainly is better, but still not perfect. There is just too much flex in the rear throttle lever. When I actuat from the front throttle it's smooth as silk.

If you look closely at the shiniest part of the lever you'll notice the edges are radius'd slightly.
