Brief Description: Control System Installation #16
Started to figure out how to set the down elevator stop and it looks like I need to trim the horizontal stablizer (HS) rear spar flange (per the plans) at least and maybe the stop itself which is attached to the aft deck will need some trimming. Well to do this I had to take the elevators off and the HS. I trimmed the HS back to were the stop is with the dremmel. Now that I have the tail completely off, I would like to get the fwd bottom skin issue resolved with the landing gear tower rivets (long story which will be explained when I tackle that job), so I'll see if my buddy Greg or Mike can make is over this weekend for a couple of hours to know that out. Then I'll be able to get inside the airplane, prime the fwd floors and get back on track with the plans.

Bottom flange of the HS rear spar is relieved for the down elevator stop.
