Brief Description:  Control System Installation #5

Slept in this morning so I didn't get too much done for a weekend - wasn't feelin that good.

-Deburred the holes drilled in the previous session for the F841 pushrod tube.
-Next I cut the smaller F841 pushrod tube to the appropriate length specified in the plans.
-Next I layed out the 6 holes that go in each end of the F841 for the rod ends to be riveted. Vans has a neat trick of using a folded paper to lay out the equal spacing between the holes - works pretty good (same as on the F840).
-Then I tried to slip the rodends into the tube and no go. I got out the dremel and the bigger sanding drum was just the right size to hone out the tube so I could remove the rodends once they were drilled.
-Drilled the 6 holes in each end of the F841
-Uncleco'd, removed the rodends, and deburred the holes.
-Next I cleaned the pushrods (inside and out) with solvent in preparation for priming.
-Primed the rod ends and caps that go in their respective tube and primed both tubes (inside and out).
