Now that I am caught up to the plans I can start to work on the control system going back to the tail. First up was to mount the elevators and drill the control horn for the bolt that attaches to the push-pull tube. Easier said then done. I put the right elevator on per the plans and then you have to insert the center pivot bolt with the appropriate spacers (washers) - not an easy task as the area isn't directly viewable and room for hands and fingers is limited. I ended up using a combination of spray adhesive to make the washer sticky and small angled needle-nose pliars to get the right side ones in. Then you mount the left elevator and do the same trick with even less access and less visibility! Finally got that chore done - what a pain in the butt!! Almost an hour of work! Patience is not a virtue, it's mandatory for these kinds of tasks.
