More work on the floorboards. -Final drilled #30 right and left floorboards -Final drilled #12 aft control mount -Mounted the aft control mount and match-drilled the #12 hole into the floorboard and unstructure -Removed the aft control mount and used the nutplate jig to drill #40 nutplate attach holes for the aft most control mount holes (2) -Marked and drilled the #10 holes into the flap bearing blocks (2). I used a #12 vs the 10 and it's alittle tight, but I didn't have a #10 bit. -Trimmed the corners of the bearning blocks per the plans. -Installed the bearing blocks onto the WD-806 fap actuator weldment -Attempted to install the aft most bolts into the flap blocks in the fuselage and that is where I spent most of my time trimmed and re-fitting and I still don't have it. A quick check on VAF.net yielded I should chamfer teh holes that recieve the weldment so the blocks are closer together and the holes should line up. I'll try that next session.
