Brief Description:  Landing gear fitment #1

I spent most of the 2 1/2 hrs staring at the plans and instructions and trying to orient myself with what needed to be done. I unwrapped the grove airfoil shaped gear and marvelled at the quality of the workmanship - they are beautiful. Then I went about trying to figure out what I COULD do without the ability to drill a 7/16" hole with my hand drill.
I did match-drill the 7/16" hole for the inboard saddle mount and the gear legs. Then match-drilled the saddle mount to the inboard squash plates. Everything seems to fit well. I can't throw them on the airplane until I secure a larger drill or a stepped 7/16" bit that I can chuck into my standard size drill motors.
