After talking to my FAA Inspector about my upcoming visit, he reiterated about not having bolts with no threads showing. That prompted me to go looking for any errant bolts - ah haw - found some in the center section. Van wrongly called for AN4-11A on the plans and it clearly takes an AN4-12A. Took some time get the old ones out in that very tight space - would be almost impossible with the wings on.Still not done....
Here's the culpret - I naviely followed the plans instead of AC43.13 guidance.
