-Spent some more time prepping for the layup. I cut out the material that will compose the canopy bow fairing and also the lower part of the fairing that overlaps the canopy skirt. I also sat in front of the tv watching a Mustang show (Mustangs and Legends which I had on the DVR) while cutting strips of dacron for the peel ply. A lancair builder named Gordon gave me some good advice and suggested I do the wet layup with all 3 layers at once rather than individually. He's right, the air bubbles are a bear between those layers if you do it separately - thanks Gordon! With this info, I sorted the cloth into groups for the fuselage junction, canopy bow and canopy skit parts.
