Today was riveting the hinges on the flaps and wings day. I started riveting the hinge on the right flap and although I had weighted the flap down to keep it flat, it still twisted up. So I drilled out the every other rivet that I had installed and uncleco'd add ALOT more weight and started over. Still have some minor amount of twist, but all-in-all I'm satisfied. Left flap come out fine and then I riveted the hinges to the wings. In summary I set 140 rivets and drilled out 28 of those. I will complete the hinge pin retainer work after I have the wings in the cradle (easier access to work with the wings nose down).
