Well these flaps are going on forever! I can't wait until they are done. It's mostly because I keep working in short spurts. I cut out the 4 hinge eyelets that will capture the hinge pins (2 on each flap) as a retainer once they are installed. See picture from Mike's installation on his RV-7. I drilled the hole for the number 8 screw. After work I primed the hinges down in the barn - it was dark out so I needed the lights. Cold too - 30ish! Took awhile for the primer to dry.
