Brief Description:  Flap braces #1

Cold morning - 16F. Even with the heaters on I could see my breath. I studied the plans carefully before touching metal. My buddy Mike had given me some pointers about tweaking the flap brace flange. Like the aileron brackets, there's a combination of standard and flush rivets so care must be taken. I oriented the braces, trimmed per the plan on the inboard in to clear the rear spar doublers. I cleaned up the trimmed area with the 3M wheel on both left and right braces. I then cleco'd them to the rear spar (left/right wing) and match drilled #30. I then removed them and drilled out the flap brace-to-skin holes to #40 (those will get countersunk). Not blazing speed, but good progress overall for an hr.
