Started on the right landing light installation this morning. It fits flush into the leading edge just like the left side if you've been keeping up. Anyway you would think I would have less problems the second time, but true to form, I got in a hurry and laid it out and forgot to cut off the protective plastic. No biggy, but I got to lay out the location twice. I did manage to rough cut the hole before I ran out of time and then I removed the plastic and did the layout again so I have nice sharp referenc lines to shoot for as I open up the hole.
Laying out the location - should have removed the plastic first, lest it get hot and roll up w/heat.
