Not much progress today for one hour. I managed to drill out the flop tube hole in the inboard rib on the left tank. I thank figured out a general area I wanted to install my return lines. Most of my hour was spent scratching my head and making sure I didn't make a costly mistake. The plans don't do a great job on the flop tube and they say nothing about return lines for fuel injected engines. There is actually a way around an "in tank" return, you can plumb it to return at the selector valve, but most agree the best installation is returning to the tank where the hot fuel can be mixed with the cooler fuel in the tank and avoid vapor lock and hot starting problems.
