Started working on the brackets that attach the fuel tanks to the spar (note - the tanks also screw onto the skin and the joint plate between the fuel tank and the outboard leading edge section). After reading Dan Checkaway's comments on how to do this I went with his technique vs the plans - much more accurate IMHO. I worked on both wings simultaneously. I marked a slightly offset centerline onto the z brackets and drilled a 3/16 hole per the instructions. I bolted the Z brackets to the spar and squared them up so I could match-drill the 2 remaining holes that are part of the attachment to the spar. I only got as far as completely the left wing. I still need to mount and drill out the right wing.
