Up at 5am this morning and drilled the joint plate and the inboard rib on the leading edge section of the right wing. I also drilled all the rib to spar #30 holes for both wing leading edges. I then started match-drilling the left wing leading edge skins to the spar and ribs per the plans. I only got the top surface of the left wing done, so probably another hour to finish them both and then it's on to the dreaded fuel tanks.
Tight quarters. The hole are very close to the main ribs - this is as it comes drilled from Vans.
