Began putting the leading edges together in the cradles this morning (5am). Followed the plans and began cleco'ing the ribs to the top skin starting at the front and then tried to cleco the bottom the same way - did not work well. After much straining and scratching my head I put a cleco in the first hole that would line up and then worked my way back down to the leading edge contrary to the plans but that was the only way I could get it together. It is all match-drilled so alignment is already set. I finished up cleco'ing both leading edge assembly together. It took 1.4 hrs to complete the left side by contrast it only took half that time for the right side (.7), that's quite a learning curve!
