Brief Description: Counter-sinking/Priming Left Elevator parts
Machine counter-sunk the top and root rib attach rivet holes on the false spar for the trim tab and root rib to spar rivet holes on the spar side. Used a cordless drill so I could control the speed (slower is better). I then beveled the counter-weight "cover" piece per the plans so it fits under the skins with less of a hump, if you will. Then I scuffed everything, cleaned, and primed everything. Tomorrow, my friend Rick Blaes is coming over to help out in the morning. I have the dreaded trim tab opening tabs to bend down on the elevator skin and then its rivet everything together on the elevator and then start on the trim tab.
