Brief Description:  Parking Brake #6 (1000hr mark)

Today I surpassed the 1000 hr mark in my build. I started Oct 5th of 2006 and now 2 yrs and 7 mos later I'm 1000 hrs into the project that will likely go to 1800 to 2000 hrs total.
As for today:
I'm almost done with the parking brake install. Probably less than an hr to go.
-Fabricated a bracket that will screw to the bottom of the baggage compartment floor to help stabilize the valve (it flexes the bulkhead alittle when it is released). I used the sheet metal brake, trimmed it to size. It turned out good.
-located the screw holes in the bracket above and drilled
-located the bolt holes for the valve in the bracket above and drilled- that was tricky.
-drilled for #6 nutplates
-deburred (edges and holes) in the bracket and the baggage floor
-c/s the nutplate rivets in the bracket for NAS1097 rivets
-cleaned and primed
-c/s the screw hole in the firewall crossmember for the adel clamp install - and primed.
-backet riveted the modified stiffner to the baggage floor
-rivetd the #6 nutplates to the bracket frabricated above.
