Hung the rudder today and dug out the previously fabricated rudder stops. Once I sorted out mounting the rudder (had to adju the bottom rod end a little), then I cleco'd the rudder stops in place to mark from trimming length wise. I also had to trim my upper longerons that I intentionally left alittle long. Once those two things were done, I marked the rudder stops at roughly 1" clearance between the rudder and elevator per the plans and trimmed them on (bandsaw). It worked out great. I cleaned them up on the 3M wheel and I'm happy with the results.
