Brief Description:  Brake lines

This has been a rough 4 weeks or so working on the airplane. I have completely broken my routine so now I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I have re-arranged the airplane in the garage now that it's up on gear and made it easier to work on by putting my small work tables alongside, which has been great!

Today I scratched my head about how to run my brake lines from the parking brake valve to the gear legs. Since I am using a parking brake and also my gear tower webs are removable, the stock installation won't do, so I'm left to figure it out. I decided to put a union at the top of each gear tower to allow for a multiple piece solution that will be easier to work with and cleaner in appearance than the stock setup. I located and drilled those holes with a unibit and loosely installed the bulkhead 90 degree fittings on each side. Then I decided I need a couple of fittings that I didn't have to exit the parking brake valve so I then turned my attention to the rudder pedals to figure out the routing from the master cylinders to the parking brake valve. I installed 90s in the master cylinders and used the stainless steel flex lines supplied in the kit (had to remove the pedals, only 4 bolts, to get access to install the fittings). Then I installed the flexible lines.
Looks good for now. I need to also work on the fuel tank vents because they share space in the gear towers with the brake lines.
