Brief Description: Misc Fuel tanks #2 plus leading edge prep work
Had a good 3 hr session this morning. I was able to get a few of the small items done on the fuel tanks. I am about to the point where I can't do much else until the ProSeal arrives. -Drilled the 3/8 holes for the BNC connector on each tank (fuel quantity sending unit). I then mocked up and trimmed the capacitence plates (outboard ones) so they didn't interfere with the fuel tank stiffners. I then moved onto the fuel pickup for the right tank (I am using a conventional pickup on the right and a flop tube on the left). I fabricated the tube and put all the hardware together. I still need a flaring tool to flare the tube before I can install everything. From there I put away all the fuel tank parts and moved the left wing leading edge onto the bench and started removing the plastic on the rivet lines.
