Up at 5:45am this morning (Saturday) and worked on riveting on the first rib to the left hand horizontal stabilizer skin (nose rib HS707). Riveting went ok, had a small blemish on the leading edge, but I should be able to repair it - not a show stopper. My first flush rivets came out pretty good - both sides. Mitchel came down and helped me in the tight spaces and it was great. Went to cleco the spar into the skin along with the ribs and discovered that I somehow didn't dipple all the holes in the bottom skin. Big oops, luckily I was able to un-cleco everything and get the skin in the C frame dimpler without drilling out the just installed rib (707). Got everything cleco'd back together after dimpling the skin and will blind rivet 707 to 708 to 702 next session and try to get as much riveting done as possible.
