Slow progress this morning as the learning curve on my first rivets slowed things down. Had to drill out 3 rivets that I wasn't satisfied with(not in a row). Using the hand squeezer I figured out that not having the work clamped down is a no-no, duh! Once I secured everything it went great, just tough on the hands and arms. I'm working on a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome, but it's worth it!!! Didn't quiet finished before I ran out of time, but it's good to be putting something together that won't came back apart again - builders know what I mean! Also I oriented the rivets with the standard practice of shop head on the thicker metal - although many builders have put the manufactured (round) head out for cosmetic and ease of removal. I think on the vertical stab and front spar I will do that too.
