Brief Description: Horizontal Stabilizer (HS) Front Spar
Trimmed and radiused the HS front spar reinforcements (HS810 & HS814) with a 10" bandsaw and the 3M wheel. Put 6 degree bend in both reinforcements and the front spar channel (HS702). Checked for fitment and dippled the front spar channel and counter-sunk the reinforcements. I used a cordless drill to C/S because it turns slow and is high torque so it doesn't distort the hole. First time at dimpling and counter-sinking but it went ok. Had to counter-sink the reinforcements deeper than normal to accomodate the dippled spar channel. Researched this on Vansairforce.net and my friends advised the same.
