I left the airplane yesterday with limited rudder travel with the cables hooked to the pedals. I decided to retreat to VAF.net and see if anyone else had this issue. Seems someone did. The brake master cylinder hit the weldment as the pedal travel rearward which limits the travel of the rudder. I unbolted the assembly enough to get a rotary file in there and relieved the weldments slightly - problem solved! Now I need to finish putting the assembly back together.
