Brief Description: Polishing bottom of left wing #2
-Finally getting into a groove. This is physically demanding work and takes massive amounts of time....oh well, I keep telling myself it'll be worth it!
-Did the wing from the spar aft since I can't comfortably get to the leading edge section. I'll do that on the bench later.
-After the compounding was done I got to play with the cyclopolisher - pretty cool machine. Does a great job. I have only been using the course compound up to this point and it looks pretty good. I still need to get the rest of the swirls out with the cyclo and then I can move to fine grade polish to see how good my compounding is. 12 hrs so far polishing....
Swirl marks haven't been removed in this pic.
You can see the contrast here. The bottom hasn't been polished.
