Brief Description: Flox / Fiberglass Ramps to Strengthen
Today I decided to sand each end of the ramps where they attach to the inlet ramps and the top cowl and to add some flox and a layer of fiberglass to strengthen these connection points rather than just relying on the strengh of just the straight epoxy. Since there were some fairly significant lips at each end, the flox was used as a filler and then overlayed with one layer of fiberglass while it was still wet. I then added a layer of peel ply over each end so I won't have to sand these areas before adding micro to smooth everything out.
Both inlet ramps sanded on both ends where they attach to the inlet ducts and top cowl
Both ramps floxed to fill in the gaps and then covered with 1 layer of fiberglass and peel ply
