Brief Description: Connect Strobe Wires from Wings to Power Supply
Today I decided to work on finishing up the wiring for the strobe power supply. I installed the Molex male pins on each of the three wires in the two shielded cables coming from the wings, then snapped these into the connectors and slid the connectors into the power supply. The instructions for the Whelen power supply say to connect the shields to the airframe at the power supply end only. I decided the best way to do this was to butt-splice a ground pigtail onto each shield wire. I'll install ring terminals on each of these pigtails tomorrow and use one of the power supply mounting screws to connect them to the airframe.
