Brief Description: Install Male Pins on Trim/Stick Cables
Today I installed male D-Sub pins on all of the wires in the aileron and elevator trim cables as well as on the wires from the sticks. These will connect to the Ray Allen relays and trim indicators. Tons of tiny wires. I was originally going to use four 9-pin D-Sub connectors for the 2 relays and 2 trim indicators but these were too big and bulky in such a confined area, not to mention that all of the cables have a couple wires going to each device. Instead I think I'll do what I did on the headset/microphone cables and just use the male/female pins with heat-shink covering each individual connection followed by larger diameter heat-shrink to protect each cable.
