After reviewing the Oshkosh, Sun 'n Fun, and Oswego pictures, most people route the engine control cables under the rudder pedal support tubes rather than over them. Makes sense given the length of the cables and the sharp bends that are needed to route them over the tubes. The other thing I forgot to do was route the cables through the center access cover holes.
No way around it,,,I had to unbolt the cables from the carburetor, support bracket, and firewall eyeball mounts and re-route them under the rudder pedal support tubes, through the access cover and then back through the firewall eyeball mounts and connect everything back up again to the carb and support brackets.
