Brief Description:  Wet Sand/Polish Panel, Install Instruments

I really haven't done much work on the plane over the last couple of weeks. We had a very successful EAA chapter meeting on the 23rd in my basement and then a great lunch on the 24th with many of my work friends from both EDS and IBM. I think everyone had a great time,,,I know I did!Anyway, I spent some time since then wet sanding my panel with 1500 grit and then polishing with 3M rubbing compound. The paint is just an epoxy primer but the sanding and polishing really made the panel look very nice. It's not too shiny or reflective and at the same time it's not flat either. I'm very pleased with the color and how the finish turned out.Once I was happy with the finish I installed the instruments, the Dynon EFIS and engine monitors, the radio's, GPS, switches, etc a little at a time over the past couple of weeks. I had to wait on some of the switches until I finally decided on all the specifics and placed an order with B&C Specialty.
