Brief Description: Prime Panel Using Gray Epoxy Primer
Once all of the prep work was done on my panel parts, Matt mixed up the gray epoxy primer and loaded the pressure pot. I sat back and watched him create quite a dust cloud from the overspay. There is a huge difference between the conventional gun and the HVLP gun. There was hardly any overspray with the HVLP and just the opposite with the pressure pot system.Matt put down 3 light coats and it looks AWESOME! No orange peel. The paint flowed out very nicely. The only flaws are a couple of tiny bugs that met their doom in the paint. We definitely need a clean, well lit paint booth. I'll have to wet sand out the bugs when the primer dries.
