Brief Description:  Mark / Punch Eight 3-1/8" Instrument Panel Holes

Today I decided to start something new and began working on the instrument panel. First I layed out the standard set of eight 3-1/8" holes. I debated whether I wanted to punch all of these holes now or not since I will only be using three of them for the Dynon EFIS, EMS, and vertical card compass. I decided to go ahead and make the punches now so upgrading the panel down the road will not require removal of the panel. I'll just cover the unused holes with standard aluminum covers. My brother Matthew loaned my his punch. Since the panel is 0.063 aluminum it took quite a bit of force to punch these holes. It worked fine as long as I kept the threads lubricated with Boelub and used a BIG wrench.
