Brief Description: Sand, Clean, and Mirco Canopy Skirts
|
|
Lots of sanding today. I wanted to micro the canopy skits to fill in all of the remaining gaps, rivets, and screws. I wouldn't have ordinarily have done this except that about a third of the forward portion of the skirts were already micro'ed because of my mistake in not ending the fiberglass around the front at the top of the side skirts. Consequently I had to taper this area back to about the 5th screw to make a nice transistion between the skirts and all of the fiberglass work on the front. Anyway, I sanded the side skirts, cleaned everything with Acetone, and then microed both side skirts. Time to let everything dry so I can start sanding again. At least micro is much easier to sand than flox!
