Today I screwed the canopy to the frame. I did not tighten the nuts very tight to allow for the different expansion rates of the aluminum and the plexiglass. The nuts are only tight enough that they won't vibrate loose but loose enough that I can turn the entire nut/washer/screw assembly using my fingertips on the nuts.
