Brief Description: Trim Vents; Drill F793 Brackets to Skins
I'm not accustomed to working with plastic. I tried trimming the plastic vents and funnels using a utility knife but that didn't work too well. I ended up cutting these on the bandsaw and then sanding the edges smooth on the bench sander. They turned out great. I then clecoed the vents to the panel and used them to positon the F793 attach brackets to the side skins. The side skins were prepunched so there was not much play on where these brackets could be positioned. I had drawn centerlines on the flange of the bracket and was able to align the brackets to the skins as well as the vents.
