Brief Description: Mark Top Forward Skin for Access Panels
The only thing I have left to rivet on the plane is the top forward skin. I want to wait until all of the wiring is complete before riveting this last skin on. I've been debating on whether or not to create a couple of access panels in the top skin for easy access to all of the wiring rather than having to lay contorted on my back in the cabin and reaching up into this area if I ever needed to change anything or troubleshoot my electrical system.
Well, today the debate is over. I decided to go for it and mark two 6" x 6-3/4" access panels on the top skin. I then used a unibit to drill nice rounded corners for each access panel.
