Brief Description: Install Aft Strut Brackets; Prime Side Skirts
Today I installed the C-728 aft canopy struct brackets and C-729 spacers on the canopy decks. It was very difficult getting a wrench on the two nuts inside the canopy deck rails. I was able to get the washers and nuts started by super gluing them to the tip of my finger and reaching up under the rail with just the one finger. However, tightening the nuts was another story. I used an open end wrench and did everything by feel. It took many tries before getting the wrench on each nut but I was finally able to tighten everything. Done deal.The other thing I did today was clean, alodine, and prime the inside faces of the side skirts.
