Brief Description: Position, Clamp, and Drill Aft Strut Brackets to D
Once the canopy frame was back on the fuselage I measured 9 11/16" back from the forward brackets that were screwed to the frame. The C-728 aft strut brackets and C-729 spacers were then clamped to the canopy deck. Before actually drilling these to the canopy deck, I installed the struts to the front brackets to double check my measurements. The aft brackets and spacers were then drilled to the canopy decks.
