Brief Description: Drill Reinforcement Brackets to Top Skin
The next thing I did was cleco the reinforcement brackets to the canopy frame. The top skin was then clecoed to the frame and it was time to drill the reinforcement brackets to the top skin. I had to remove the brackets a time or two to adjust the bends in the flanges as well as the tight radius's in the outboard brackets to get the fit perfect before drilling. I then used the pre-drilled holes in the brackets as a guide to drill the corresponding holes in the top skins. Once this was done I drilled the F-7128C clips to the reinforcement brackets and then disassembled everything for deburring, countersinking, and dimpling.
