Drilling the forward end of the side rail to the WD-716 canopy was a bit of a challenge. You have to back drill the frame using the pre-drilled holes in the C-613 splice plate as a guide. The problem is that the top skin is clecoed in place to hold the frame straight and the skin overlaps this joint and these holes don't go all the way through the skin. I had to uncleco the ear or tab, peel back the skin and carefully drill just through the frame without hitting the skin.
