Brief Description: Crappy Canopy Fit to Fuselage Photo's for Matt - 3
The gaps along the left side rail are even worse than on the right. The funny thing is that the center of the canopy top skin is flush with the forward fuselage top skin. What really needs to happen is that the two front corners need to be bent downward and inward.Another problem you can see in the 1st and 3rd shots is with the fiberglass. We messed up when we taped the sides. The fiberglass should end up flush with the top of the side skirts, not a half inch above the skirts. I knew about this but I didn't check the sides after Matt had taped everything. Definitely my fault. I'll have to add some micro and taper the sides down to the 4th or 5th screw back on the side skirts.
