Brief Description:  Install Pegasus Steel Braided Brake Lines

I hooked up the first engine hose today. I screwed the Aeroquip oil pressure line from the transducer into the restrictor fitting on the upper back portion of the engine. You can see the port on the side that used to have this fitting but is now capped.

My Pegasus steel braided brake lines arrived today so I also installed those. I changed out the 90 degree fittings at the calipers and replaced them with straight nipple fittings which allow for a much better transition to the calipers.

I did not want to use the 1/4" aluminum tubing lines that the plans call for since there have been several failures due to the flexing of the lines at the calipers. I would hate to lose my whole plane just because of a cheap brake line installation. Each steel braided line was only $19.95.
