I cut out all of the stiffeners today using the notches that were pre-punched into the angle stock. I was surprised to find that all of the stiffeners were the same length. I'm not sure why all of the other stiffeners in each of the other control surfaces were notched to the correct length but these aren't. It wasn't a big deal to cleco them to the skins and then trim each one to length but it is curious why these weren't pre-punched to length.
