Brief Description: Trim, Drill, Countersink Upper Tip
The upper fiberglass tip had to be trimmed quite a bit in order to fit on the rudder, particularly at the trailing edge, since this is a very sharp riveted edge rather than a rolled edge. Once all of the trimming was done I drilled the tip to the rudder, removed it, and countersunk each of the holes rambo style with no microstop countersink cage because of the lip along the fiberglass flange.
