Brief Description: Install Control Stick Arm; Andair Valve
Today I worked on the control sticks. I had initially bolted the sticks to the center pivot arm but realized I wouldn't be able to insert the assembly through the access holes in the floor ribs. So, I removed the sticks and then bolted the pivot arm to the brackets on the center section. Then I screwed the two access flanges onto the two open center ribs. I then decided to move on to the fuel selector valve. I think I will end up remaking the mounting plate. The one that was supplied with the kit was predrilled for the valve from Van's and the holes don't mesh with the Andair valve. Also, when I cut off the tab that is used for manual elevator trim, the mounting plate had a gap along the front edge of the enclosure. I guess I'll order some 0.063 sheet and remake this.
