The next thing that I worked on was riveting the gussets to the F706 and F707 bulkheads and longerons. I was able to squeeze all but 1 rivet on each bulkhead and each longeron side of the gussets. I ended up using pop rivets here. I then moved on to the firewall gussets. Once again, I was able to squeeze all of the longeron side rivets and all but one of the firewall angle rivets on each side. I couldn't reach 1 rivet on the firewall side because of interference with the steel corner brackets. I ended up using pop rivets here as well. There was no way to shoot/buck these without messing up something else - either the steel brackets or other bucktails of other rivets.
