I spent today trimming the floor stiffeners so they would fit between the firewall and the F704 center section forward bulkhead. I then drew center lines on each stiffener to make sure they lined up with the prepunched holes in the bottom skin. I was able to clamp 2 of the stiffeners to the firewall angles and to the support brackets on the F704 center section in order to drill them to the bottom skin. However, the other two stiffeners had to be held in place by duct tape and Daisy had to apply pressure on these while I drilled from above. Once all of the stiffeners had been drilled to the bottom skin I drilled the row of rivets along the aft firewall angle using the holes in the skin as a guide.
